New twitter tools, apps, and mashups trickle into my Feedly reader on a daily basis. A couple of weeks ago I came across Tweetalink, one of four Tweetfx twitter utilities by @noahwesley. Tweetalink is a browser bookmarklet, that allows you to post a link to the web page that you are currently viewing, as a twitter post. I am not sure if this was a shrewd move to save money on developing a fully branded interactive site, or If it was the result of forward thinking from the 30 year old candy brand. Whatever the case, this is another milestone that further legitimates twitter. In this case, branded social media presence was the main course. In previous efforts by big brands social network profiles were second to rich media presentations.
